At Zama Yatoyama Park, a mountainous park rich in nature, you can try Nordic walking, a type of exercise that began in Finland.
Serizawa Park
Serizawa Park is a large park rich in nature, as evident by its selection as one of the "Eight Views of Zama" as the source of Zama City's delicious water. Visitors can play to their heart's content on the large lawn area, the adventure playground with a pyramid climbing net, and other areas.
Zama Yatoyama Park
Zama Yatoyama Park is a natural ecology observation park built using the natural landscape of a valley, and consists of three zones: a valley area, a mountain area, and a rice field area.
Sunflower fields
These fields have over 550,000 sunflowers, the most in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The Zama City Sunflower Festival, featuring booths selling cut sunflowers, agricultural products and other specialties, is held in mid-August when the sunflowers are in full bloom.

Nissan Heritage Collection

Southern tip of Sagamino Kisen
The Sagamino Baseline, established in northeastern Kanagawa Prefecture, is one of the starting points (baselines) for triangulation in Japan. It is registered as a Japanese Civil Engineering Heritage Site.
Banjinsui spring water
Banjinsui spring water gushes out from behind Bankyodo, a small shrine located under the terrace on the south side of Zama Park. This spring supplies water for fire prevention and to moisten the streets.
JA Sagami Komedy House Zama
This JA Sagami direct sales shop offers best-selling products such as Yamato potatoes, locally produced vegetables, pork and rice, and flowers. Many other fresh products are available for purchase as well.
Zama Natto
Zama natto is made from large, whole sweetened soybeans called tsukui zairai daizu harvested locally in Zama City, which ensures that you can savor the full flavor of the beans.
Ryugenin
Ryugenin is famous for being dedicated to Benzaiten (goddess of eloquence) of the Sagami Shichifukujin (Seven Gods of Fortune). It was reportedly founded in 1461 at Iriya Maruyamashita by Kakuun Shuson, the eighth-generation priest of Uenohara Seigenin Temple. A tour of the Sagami Seven Gods of Good Fortune is worthwhile.
Shokokuji Temple
Shokokuji Temple is the eighth temple of the Bando 33 Kannon Pilgrimage. In addition to a temple bell designated as a National Important Cultural Property, the temple is the site of legends known as the Seven Mysteries of Shokokuji, such as the mysterious "Star Well," which shows reflections of stars even in the daytime.
Suzuka and Nagajuku
Suzuka and Nagajuku, two towns with spring water and history, offer beautiful, spacious and pleasant townscapes filled with an atmosphere of tradition, culture and nature.
Zama Shrine
Legends say that Zama Shrine got its start after goshinsui (holy water) cured an epidemic. There is a spring under the cliffs on the shrine grounds that has never dried up, and its waters are called the "water of fortune." The view from the shrine grounds has been selected as one of the Eight Views of Zama.
