二本松交差点には地名の由来となった松がいまでも残っています。現在の松は三代目だそうです。また、その横には久保沢道の標柱があります。

地名の由来となった松
橋本から津久井へつながる街道沿いに2本の松の木を保存している場所があります。このエリアは「二本松」というのですが、その由来となったのがこの松の木なのです。現在の松は3代目となるそうです。

古くから使われていた道で、津久井方面から大島・古清水、田名・四ッ谷等の地を経て、無量光寺に向かう道でした。
